Picnic table plans PDF with three builds in one pack: a classic A-frame picnic table with attached benches in 6 ft, 8 ft and kids size, an octagon picnic table with a seat on each of its eight sides, and a 6 ft convertible bench whose center panel flips on a pipe axle between bench height and table height. Dimensioned drawings, a cut list for every piece and a computed materials list for each.
Every member is checked against a stated load: top boards, bench boards, cross members, legs, braces, bolts, screws, the pipe and the pins, in outdoor (wet service) values, and every number in the drawings, cut lists and materials lists comes from the same model. Honest about limits: these are generic DIY plans, not engineered, and the member schedule on sheet A of each plan states the loads it assumes and where the plan does not apply.

How much does it cost to build the Long Table Picnic Set?
Our estimate for the materials in the classic 6 ft is about $150 to $220 at typical home-center prices. Lumber prices vary a lot by region and season, so the plan set includes a workbook where you type your own prices and the total works itself out.
What sizes are included?

Are these engineered plans?
No. They are generic DIY plans, not engineered or stamped drawings. Each member is checked against a stated design load, and the design basis is printed in the plans, but you are responsible for safe construction, local codes and safe use.
