Good questions
What exactly do I get?
A printable PDF plan set (US letter) with dimensioned drawings, a cut list for every board, a materials list worked out from the cut list, tools, a build sequence, finishing and safety pages. Most sets also include an Excel workbook that totals your local prices and a ZIP with every sheet as its own printable page.
How do I receive the plans?
Right after checkout you land on your download page. Bookmark it to download again any time. Stripe emails your receipt.
Do I need a big workshop?
No. Most plans need a circular saw or miter saw, a drill and driver, a tape measure, a square and clamps. Each plan lists its tools. If you can assemble flat-pack furniture carefully, you can follow our plans.
Are the plans engineered?
No. They are generic DIY plans, not engineered or stamped drawings. Each structural member is checked against a stated design load, printed in the plans, but you are responsible for building safely and following local codes.
Are these copies of a specific store’s product?
No. Our plans are our own designs in the style of popular catalog pieces: similar proportions and looks, our own drawings and dimensions. We are not affiliated with any retailer.
Can I get all the plans at once?
Yes. The complete collection includes every plan for $129, including plans we add later.
What if I am not happy with them?
Write to us within 30 days and we will fix the problem or refund you. See the 30-day guarantee.
Can I sell furniture I build from your plans?
The plans themselves are for personal use and may not be shared or resold. If you want to build pieces to sell, write to us first.
